The Firm

About TrailBridge.

TrailBridge Capital was founded in 2025 by David Zackowitz and Evan Sherman, both former senior investment professionals at Blackstone. TrailBridge was established to bring institutional underwriting and structuring expertise to smaller, power-driven digital infrastructure opportunities often overlooked by larger platforms focused on hyperscale deployments. The firm's power-first approach and real estate capital markets expertise define how we source, underwrite, and execute.

David Zackowitz is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of TrailBridge Capital. Prior to founding TrailBridge in 2025, David served as a Managing Director at Blackstone, where he held investment and asset management responsibilities across multiple real estate strategies and led the firm's Canadian industrial business. David has 25 years of institutional real estate and private equity experience and has completed over $25 billion of transactions. Prior to Blackstone, David worked at Lehman Brothers and CIII Capital Partners in real estate investment and structured finance.

David holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.

Evan Sherman is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of TrailBridge Capital. Prior to founding TrailBridge in 2025, Evan served as a Principal at Blackstone, where he held investment responsibilities across multiple real estate equity strategies. Evan has 18 years of real estate private equity experience and has completed over $20 billion of transactions. Prior to Blackstone, Evan served as Director of Acquisitions at Invesco Real Estate, where he was responsible for over $7 billion of acquisitions across multiple asset classes.

Evan holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Brandeis University.
